My Tracking Link is Listed at MalWareBytes....
MalwareBytes
MalwareBytes is a private security company that provides cyber-protection software for individuals and business. They also provide web protection and occasionally some of our customer's links get listed because recipients of theirs have complained to malwarebytes.
De-Listing Process
You need to go to their forum, signup, create an account and then submit a public false positive request for de-listing as follows:
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE SITE TO WHICH WE ARE REDIRECTING TO (the link you embed in your emails) IS NOT COMPROMISED. Over the last several years *ALL* of the times we or customer links have been listed at MalwareBytes has been due to the customer's site being infected (to which their click-link points).
If your hosting provider is running on CPANEL, make sure they are using Imunify360 to protect the websites, we have seen dozens of CPANEL installations compromised with an Armageddon-style compromise that only Imunify360 can seem to protect from.
Step-By-Step:
- go to MalwareBytes False Positive Forum with your browser
- log in or create an account and sign in if you don't have an account
- Review their information regarding reporting false positives
- File a report if it is still warranted
- Wait for them to respond (and they do respond).
Example De-List Request
Here is an example where we had to file a de-list on one of our main click-tracking URLs because a customer's site, to which we redirected was compromised: MalwareBytes Example De-List Request
